Dr. Prakash Jain's work is centred on three needs rural families felt most deeply: education for village children, higher education for girls, and access to medical care where medicines and specialist support were limited.
He helped bring structured school education to rural children, beginning with the school established in Tendukheda on 15 August 1983 and growing toward higher-secondary learning.

For families whose daughters had limited options after school, Dr. Jain established Sant Moni Sarvodaya Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Tendukheda in 2002, creating local pathways for undergraduate and postgraduate study.
